In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
